You  did something similar once before in daylight  as I recall Strav , a few years ago didn't  you ? The canal / tunnel looks familiar.  I agree  with Rye about  that first image  but my fave is that fabulous building in the last  image in the set ... Having said that,  the  3rd pic, of the tunnel, is beautifully exposed and composed in the low light  .. AND  on reflection  may just pip it at the post for me ..😉

Thanks, yes indeed I did, but this was the first time there were no lights in the tunnel, making it marginally easier to photography but maybe not as striking

I think I actually prefer the  one without the light on in the tunnel... it makes the view at the end more of the focus and  the subtle lighting  reflected on the tunnel walls  leads the eye in nicely without  too much distraction ... just my opinion though 😉

Its on Flickr and just got included in the "Explore" category so clearly they agree 😄
