Guggenheim

This was taken some 10 -12 years ago when I had driven across half of Spain to Bilbao for a festival that was on.  Apart from the musical festival being the very best Ive ever been to, the Guggenheim was great to see too

The images arent that good being taken with a low res camera that we had at the time, but hopefully they show you the building which I guess is a work of art in itself

Nice shots, I thought this might have been the Guggenheim Museum in New York, which I have visited.

What an amazing building ….  I think the second image is just an awesome capture showing this futuristic vista with it’s  epic perspective and proportions. Having a sky  like that  feels like the biggest bonus too …. Were  the pics taken on different days or is it just the time between  them  showing  the transient nature of weather:    Two super photos regardless !

We were there for 4 days in all for the BBK music festival.  Festival was in the afternoons so our mornings were spent wandering around Bilbao.

Ah ...that explains it  ... I shall have to read a bit more about the architecture  etc ...  it is so  innovative  and "out of the box "  it must have required  some incredible engineering  to enable those shapes  .. I just love it .. I hope you don't mind but I have  added a link   about the  building as it is so iconic ..
