I have just taken delivery of a Laowa 15mm wide angle macro lens.

I wasn't really interested in spending circa £500 for a lens that I would be using periodically.  However, after spotting this lens on Ebay for £280, (advertised as opened, but unused), I decided I couldn't afford not to buy it.

Where and when would I ever see such a bargain again?

So, on examination, the lens really appears to be unused - in fact it's in pristine condition.  I am well pleased.

How are you getting on with it Fogey ... It does take some  getting used to doesn't ...I have had mine a just over a  year  and I  am still learning lots of it's nuances  ... but it is fun and rewarding when you get a decent result ...  The shift feature for correcting perspective on tall   buildings , architecture etc.  is a bonus though I have  usually used the perspective crop option in Photoshop to  fix that  when necessary. In fact I didn't  even try it out for the best part of 9 months  ! It really is about trial and error  I am though  going to use a low tripod and a remote shutter  more often   for the images I am hoping to get I think... Looking forward to seeing   how you  get on . We can compare notes  eh  ...lol
