First of all I love the title that you have given this image Mark .. I t conjures  up such a  great narrative  ...and  secondly it's such an  innovative   view  of  the chess pieces  and so well lit .  I really like it ... hats off to you Sir ... Maybe we will see more photos in  the Still Life Genre with the coming of winter months  ahead  and spending more time indoors ...

Thank you,Polly I am pleased with it. It came out a bit different than I envisioned but in a nice way, Some problems that I expected didn't happen so all is good, glass can be a pain.😁  I guess that is half the fun of it.

In the winter and hot summers I do quite a few Still lifes.  This summer I didn't have my small Air conditioner in my makeshift studio and my wife's cancer treatments made it hard to do much.

I have more planned, but  In the mean time I can post some older ones.
