Myself, Hazel, our  son Chris and his partner Lynsey made the short trip to Windsor this afternoon to pay our respects to Queen Elizabeth.

There was a que but it didn't take that long to wind our way down and back up to the Long Walk where the tribute flowers were laid.

There were 3 areas for flowers, one set back and 1 either side of the main gates.

Flowers are collected up and distributed inside the grounds.

A very moving experience to witness and we are glad we all went.

The armed Police were very friendly and allowed photos to be taken with them which put a smile on the faces of everyone.
