I was in London during the week and was surprised to find the changing of the horseguards taking place in the afternoon.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Apparently it was postponed on the morning.

 

An unexpected photo opportunity.

All very nicely taken and edited...and I have to say a scene I truly love and miss...being a Londoner..

 

If I had to choose one shot it would be hard cause I really like them all..but I would probably go for shot two...the solitary Horse Guard..he stands out so well,

It has so much history behind it all...............fantastic...I am now thinking shot five...I am so torn! To hell with it, I love them all and am very jealous that I was not there..!

nice clean set, I might have lost no.2 as I think no.3 is a far better, but all well shot with the last one being my winner

Obviously I have no opportunity to see this any more, so I love looking at all of them!! No 3, and the last one would be my picks, but thanks for letting me see something again that lives in my memory

I can't stand this kind of thing (R.I.P. Tony Benn ). However, I have to admit you have photographed it very well - my personal favourite is #2, if I half close my eyes, it's a Roman centurion galloping off to battle! My only criticism is the penultimate shot which is very dark and dull and would benefit from a whole stop increase in exposure (at least) IMO.

My  cousin was in the horse guards when he was  young, many moons ago, but sadly I never got to see him on parade.

Not really my kind of subject, but I really do love the way you've processed these images.

 

Number 5 is the stand-out shot for me - a smashing composition and the sky just sets it off perfectly.
