Sorry for the weeks of inactivity, it has been a long and hard time for me after 12 weeks in hospital and three major operations on my left hip. I am now a 'bionic woman' with screws, wires and metal plates in my hip - enough to set off all the alarms at an airport!!

Have, this week, transitioned from two crutches to one, and moving about a bit better, but still slowly, and  have managed to take a couple of pictures but am reduced to mobile phone use only for now.

Will do catchups as I can and hopefully will be around more.

H. Dee....it was really nice catching up with your phone call tonight  after missing your last call . What an awful time you have had with 12 weeks in hospital having had your femur actually split a little while after one of your operations ... what a testament to your focus  when faced with such debilitating pain and your mental strength to deal with all this and still sound sane ! You have been missed  and appreciate  the propriety in your life has been to use all your energy to get your mental and physical health back to place where you can function more independently once again  and  you sounded in really good spirits on the phone which was reassuring .Your canine friends must have been beyond excitable when the were brought back after 3 months in kennels ... How do they understand that  you would be back after all that time ....it makes you wonder about what they were "thinking " doesn't it .....? It is really good to hear from you....and so good to have you back ...  little steps young lady .... so no overdoing things ...
