You have a great knack of producing photographs that would look good on any wall John, your foreground interest of the boat and the estruary leading you  to the background hills melting into the distance..great composition!

As already stated ... I can see  the thought that went in to composing this . I really like in colour  but can't help  just wondering how a mono version  could look. Sometimes I try it on one of my images  thinking it could look  really good only to be disappointed ... and sometimes it surprises me and looks better that I anticipated .... I   never know till I try it usually !

Probably needs a tad more contrast but I think that I prefer the colour version.  Unusual for me.

Thanks all for the comments.  I keep hoping for a bit of space on the wall but as yet nothing has qualified.  Keeps me trying though.

Yeah I  tried it too and came to the same conclusion ....odd isn't it  how you get an instinct  for what looks the better version even before you try it . The colour version wins hands down in my opinion ... I think the red and blue on the  boat contribute too ..
