Oooh I thought Ross Poldark was going to come galloping across that scene Matt ... Though it was a different Wheal they used for the  programme... What  a lovely part of the world  to be  in with a camera !

Wheal Prosper is about half a mile behind me where some of the 70s Poldark was filmed. Don't think it was used in the new version though.

I think it was Wheal Coates  used in the last series as Wheal Grace Matt,  not far from where the author Winston Graham  lived.Fabulous sky ... ...so often the cloud formation where the land meets the sea is usually very photogenic....

Not sure about the name now, but the lady in the National Trust centre at Bottallack told us the one at the top there was used as the mine in the latest series.  They were due to be filming there a couple of weeks after we visited.  (That was the same holiday we saw them filming in Charlestown.)

West Wheal Owles ( I think ), pretty sure it was numerous times as both Grace and Leisure. Botallack is a gorgeous spot, and even better when the cafe is open. 😀
