Good set with some very colourful boats, Martyn, and you have got a wow sky in 2, 4 and 5...very dramatic!

 

The 1st one is my favorite though, there is an appealing sadness about it that works for me. It just goes to show how light and different angles can greatly affect an image :)

They are all good in their own ways, but my favourites are the first two. #2 and #4 are very similar but I much prefer the rear 3/4 view of the red boat in #2 to the side on view in #4. I particularly like the way you have the main landscape crammed into the top strip of #1, leaving that big empty mud flat with what looks like mysterious footprints on.

Thank you, you are all too kind! I think I'll be photographing these boats as long as they (and myself) are around. When I was taking these I was thinking of Bill Allsopp's new year picture, guess I'll have to keep watching and waiting!
