Walking past the car and spotted this very big fly on the roof. Had the TZ in my hand, and he was quite well behaved as I approached:

Was quite pleased with the way I got his eye.

 

We have had a few of these huge flies around in the last couple of weeks, but they are usually very 'flighty', and scoot off as soon as you look at them.

Annie I take the TZ when we walk the girls, and that's what we were doing. Haven't had much tome to play with the new one as yet!

 

Fuji - I was really lucky that he stayed still. We usually see them land on the outside of the windows and they are gone by the time I get out there with a camera!

 

Bugs, we have dried out so much already that the insect world seems to have 'shut down' too! We'll see!
