I did listen.......until 1:40 in......... That was enough........thanks, but no thanks Korks.

Very much an acquired taste I think?

I will stick with Cleo Laine and Billie Holiday I think.......Cheers!

Clicks - I'm pretty sure that the vocalist is called Dan Tyminski and his were the vocals to which George Clooney mimed this song in 'Oh Brother Where Art Thou'. A great version.

The soundtrack to Cold Mountain is worth a listen, too. Jack White's 'Wayfaring Stranger' is just superb.

I  have the dvd .Korks .. What a great version that was too ... I thought I recognised Tyminski ... he plays a mean mandolin  too .... Well well ... I don't know many other people that are big fans ... weve been hiding our light under a bushel maybe ....lol

I've been listening to English and Irish folk, blues and bluegrass for summat like 50 years give or take.

Have a listen to this one, Clicks, but worry ye not I won't bombard you with stuff. As much as I love the above, I'm not evangelical about it.
