Apples, Acorns and a Teddy Bear

A few fun shots from a wander around Thornley Woods today.

 

We raided an Apple tree:

 

Found some Acorns that were on their way to becoming oak trees:

 

 

And Thomas took the Teddy Bear he has from School for the weekend on an adventure:

To be fair both the boys are like that and I just love that they can have fun on a day out in the countryside and don't need electronic entertainment to keep them happy.

yep, you and your wife have done the best thing....get them out and let them get dirty and have fun. it's lovely to see a young family interacting together, so many are missing out these days.

Another lovely set, BP, and I agree - kids should get out, get dirty and have fun, and yours are, and you are capturing that.

It's lovely to see the boys out enjoying the fresh air.

My son takes his girls and his older son on the boat. The oldest two 16 and 9 ski and the little one, just turned 4 is learning to water ski.

The have no fear of the water (although they wear life jackets) and are very adventurous and outgoing.

His nose injury was a result of him running to school - not something I recall doing but he seems to love it.

Nifty Fifty strutting its stuff.

It has queer odd bokeh wide open but smooths out when needed by the time you close it down to about f2.8.
