My Grandfather on my mothers side had one of these back in the 60's, surprising how expensive they are now, he also had a Morris Traveller - Woody, they are now worth between £6000-£14000

All taken using my new 90D

NOooooooo !!    The ubiquitous 'jelly mold'

Great pic of the car Geoff, but  I detested these things most of all :) No self respecting ex Rocker or biker type would be seen dead in one of these hideous machines!

Now a Ford Zodiac or a Vauxhall Cresta PA would be fine to admire

A true classic but I seem to remember that the steering ball joints were a bit iffy.  I like the steering wheel lock.  I have one just like it (long story).  My wife calls it my frying pan. ?

Served my time as a mechanic at the Royal Mail on Morris Minor vans, passed my driving test in one.

Wasn't so much the steering ball joints but the threaded trunions at the top and bottom of the stub axle carrier (king pin) that used to wear out and fall apart. I must have changed many hundreds of them over the years. The Morris Marina was the same only they changed the top trunion to a ball joint.
