Fungi.

#2, 3 & 4 look like inkcaps John. The last is possibly one of the bonnets (lilac?).

Which leaves 1 & 5, which could be puffballs of some kind.

Whatever they all actually, its great to have found so many at once.

I'm hoping to get out to Roddlesworth Woods on Friday, I may find some fungi there hopefully.

Well spotted, John, and well photographed.

You must be well chuffed to find so many different types.

There were even more than the ones I photographed, I only chose those in good condition. Some had been eaten by I presume slugs or something. There were some down a steep slope the size of dinner plates but I didn't want to risk slipping so I just looked at them with my binoculars... chicken...  :yes

It's no good breaking a leg or something for one more shot. You wouldn't be able to use your camera for a while if you did.

Too true Tina... I've already got one bad leg that took ten years of in and out of hospital having surgery to repair and it's still an inch short.... motor cycle accident when I was 19... not my fault though.
