The Pointy End...

Recommended Posts

Not my usual type of shot and little more than a holiday snap really, but I couldn't resist the contrast in size between the ship and the group of passengers.

I'm not a cruiser btw, I just happened to be having a beaky at the pointy end.

mmmmm not sure how to put this but I have seen quite a few 'snaps' from cruisers and the boat they were on -  none of those pictures showed any imaginative or interesting use of a camera. If I were you and someone holds a competition for photos of these boats enter this pic - gonna' win hands down :yes

I've always wanted to travel on her sister ship, the COSTA NARMANDALEG

A nice composition, with a sense of perspective.

BTW, me and Mrs S do 'cruise', but after the Costa Concordia incident, we'll stick with P&O, Princess, and Celebrity I think.

Not keen on the 'Skippers' they appear to use on the Costa ships. :no
