Taken from the balcony of the cruise ship, which was moored in the harbour.

 

Little time to think about this one, as my wife was nagging me to hurry up and get changed for dinner  :rolleyes: , so it was a matter of grab the camera and quickly grab the 'shot'.

 

Canon EOS 7D + Canon 24-105 L Lens. 1/125th at f/8 ISO 100

Ah!!, I've just sussed what you mean re the horizon 'korky'  :lol:

 

So, here it is with the image rotated a tad, and the horizon now horizontal to the eye, when the image is viewed.

 

This meant cropping some of the image after rotation, so its a tad smaller than it was, and of course resaving it has compressed the resolution a bit.

I think that's improved the image considerably - very nice!

 

The horizon just didn't look right to me - perhaps for you it was a case of not being able to see the wood for the trees. I wish I'd a tenner for every time I've been guilty of it.
