Kids trainline photography

Recommended Posts

Ok, a mate of mine posted a lovely mono photo of his toddler sitting on the rails of a train line. I said it was a lovely image but gave off the wrong message. Kids should never go on trainlines. He gave  me a link to a whole load of similar images. The line in question was still in use but no trains the day he took the images.  Whats your thoughts?

Ridiculous thing to do. Who says there are no trains that day ? There are trains that are not advertised such as engineers trains or positioning moves. And giving a child the idea that  it is OK to trespass on the railway and sit on the track is potentially a life threatening  thing to do.

Potentially very dangerous and even if it was safe on that particular occasion it does send the wrong message:

- as you say: kids should never go on train lines

- others may see a good photo and try to emulate it
