out walking the dogs when we saw this balloon flying way to low over the high street and church area

i didnt have a camera with me so Rick lent me his new fuji which i had to set on auto as i didnt have time to learn where the controls are

they flew over us on the common after scraping over the rooftops and then gaining height again. They landed in a farmers field in the end i think

would have loved to have been in that, great couple of shots, but normaly the case when something happens you just seem to have left the camera at home.

nope they didnt actually connect with the church although it looked pretty close, he was really struggling and nearly landed in the high street at one point we think.

i wouldnt have wanted to be a passenger in that balloon for all the tea in china, i would have been a complete basketcase by the end of the ride. ;)
