I like the second  and third, they look gritty, real and could well have been taken in combat, a big thumbs up!

However, I have a problem with military re-enactors. While I admire the dedication to detail, older men of a ...lets say.. larger disposition ought not to squeeze themselves into a uniform!

There are a group of lads aged from mid teens to early twenties who formed a group called the B5 Boys. (5 Group Bomber Command )They would attend either Duxford, East Kirkby and Hendon to pose by the Lancaster bombers held by these museums. They had every bit of real issue flying clothing worn by RAF aircrew during WWII, and boy do they look the part.

I witnessed a group of American GI re enactors a few weeks ago at a Military vehicle show , most were too old and far too overweight to be convincing, on the other hand I spoke to a group of German infantry re-enactors who I found slightly chilling as they held a hard and fast character set, these blokes were almost too much 'in character' and even held views not exactly PC these days. Kind of frightening when you were talking with them, its as if they really thought of themselves as Wermacht !
