Heavy push up the Mississippi

The Towboat Marquette Warrior  using all her 8000hp to push her load upriver! The Mississippi is very swift and the current is strong it amazes me the size of these barges and the growl of the Towboats engines going up stream and how quiet they are going down stream. But as this has become my favorite place to walk, relax and shoot I plan on spending a lot of time here during the summer.

Just wonderful.....one day you will have to record those noises for us, or even make a short video clip, so we too get an idea of what it is like.

I have very distant cousins who live in St Louis, they too talk of the river and of a property they have in the Ozarks.
