A whiter shade of pale..

This was taken looking directly overhead as I went under one of the six  bridges spanning the Douro  whilst on a river cruise in Porto .. I  just liked the lines and the tones  though the original photo sported a  mediterranean  blue sky ...which rather  spoilt the mystery of it really ... hence the mono ..

I like the composition and I think the whites are great. A simple shot with bags of interest for me.

That certainly twangs my braces. The mono treatment has given it a terrific abstract feel.

Well Korks ... That's a very interesting way to put it .. ... The best next thing to a pic that one remembers is a phrase or statement that makes something hard to forget ...  twanging your braces  for some reason has me puffing out my chest and looking quite pleased with myself ..

I thought I had sent it for the exhibition  with another mono  but  I hit the send button and logged off  for the night and only realised a couple of days later  that  I had omitted a  title in the subject  box  so it never made it's way  to Phil ...  Doh ... Never mind  . 

Your comment is really appreciated Beepy... I saw the potential of the shot on the outward  journey on the boat  and I knew I would have to be ready for it on the return journey. I knew i would only have one chance to get the shot .. . I got lucky ..

 Thanks all  for  liking  this one .... Abstract isn't for everyone,  I know,  so it 's appreciated  when someone else  sees what you see ,  so to speak.
