Man in the Dunes

HI Fuji

Im not convinced, it I think its just a simulacram of the dune grasses giving what looks to be a human form.I zoomed in on the area at 300% and it only confirmed my doubts of it being a real lurker.Oddly when enlarged the 'crouching figure' appears to be turned sideways facing left and holding a camera in front of it.

I managed to image a blow up of Lurker at 600%,resizing to fit this board has made a already vague image worse.Lurker now appears to be facing front.Although still not entirely convinced I noticed the grass has been trampled in front of where Lurker is crouching.

I've no idea if the group of people met him, had a friendly chat and went their separate ways or whether he continued to lurk and hid from them as they wandered by as I only spotted him in the grasses when I got home and saw the image in PS.

I prefer to think the latter as you can't beat a good lurk every now and then.

He is real though - 100% crop:

I agree with BlackPearl theres nothing wrong with a good lurk occasionally, and every man should have a hobby. :yes

These are hard days for many people, depression is rife getting away from it all among the dunes for a bit of peace and solitude listening to sea and birds sounds OK to me,I hope he enjoyed his lurk.
