Selfie Weekend

Black Pearl

Recommended Posts

Now we're all back up and running how about a bit of fun for the weekend......

Next three days (its a Bank Holiday after all) take a shot of something creaturey - animal/insect/fish/bird - and bung them below.

Doesn't have to be a masterpiece just shoot what you see while you're out and about....

We have  his Uncle Clyde staying with us at the moment Korks ...He's so laid back he verges on the horizontal ... An intrepid explorer  , ( he has ventured  into  the Forest of Bowland  without any  back-up or support network  a few months ago !)  he regularly pays us a visit on route to  the Forest of Dean .

Here he is  just brushing up on his navigational skills ...  He is a nightmare to feed  having such a restrictive diet but   his tipple is a lot easier to  accommodate ...  though Martini and a slice of banana isn't   really  that cool is it ? He is a bit of a poser though ... just dashed into the study and  grabbed this snap of him ...

Took a while to work your one out, Ron. Very good.

Mine didn't work as well as I'd hoped. But I enjoyed the doing of it.

This is the Welsh line of the family from Yorkshire, they still live in the trees too!

I do hope you're not casting nasturtiums at the Welsh or Yorkshsire folk, Bill - it might not be in your best interests

Been to Wales a lot, plus I dont live too far away either! Spent 2 years in Harrogate and a few months in Catterick, (can you work out what my first job was?) AND to cap it all my uncle was from Lancashire.

Not to mention, you can eat nasturtiums! Though I dont know if the Welsh or Yorkshireans(?) do :harhar:

Didn't have to go far for this one - it's duck shooting season here, but I think we have a sign up somewhere that says 'Ducks welcome and safe here'. A mix from yesterday arvos bird feeding bit, taken through the back sliding door, so not perfectly clear - one Galah, one Crested Pigeon and a gang of ducks:

Didn't get up to much animally stuff over the weekend, but did go to a BBQ where this little bloke lives. He was quite beside himself when he could smell Deirdre's dogs on my trousers.

Photo wasn't very sharp, so had to do a bit to it!
