Some 'randoms' from this week....

Have not had a great deal of spare time the last couple of weeks, and I'm still very much in the 'learning phase' with the new camera, but I quite liked these:

Taken on a brief river walk, in very cold, (for us!!), and windy conditions, a Cormorant and a Pelican, both of whom refused to get their feet wet.:

 

 

And a couple taken at home yesterday, our meat ants at work on the caterpillar eggs:

Good photographs there and the ants are especially good - interesting obstacles, or food as it transpires.  Liking the exposure on those two shots but a pleasing set all round

Nice set Dee but the Cormorant is something very special, wonderful composition and very pictorial / artistic and one I would have been proud to have taken.

Thank you all for the lovely comments. We are actually experiencing some Winter weather, so subjects are a bit limited just now, but I'm enjoying the learning phase.
