Just wonderful khm....it instantly reminded me of the painting by Artist Pieter Bruegel .....Hunters in the Snow...........it is good to see that you too, battle the elements to get a shot.....

Not pleasant every time, but if you get results....BINGO !

Well you've  got some beautiful tones here Karl ... whites aren't blown and blacks aren't  burnt either ensuring detail is maintained ...Not always easy to expose for with snow  in my experience ...  a lovely balanced image ...👍

Thank you.....what gives me the confidence going out I'm that type of weather is because my camera is weather sealed. I didn't take all my equipment. Just the camera with a 16-35 attached but used the 35mm wide option

Thanks Clicker.....Yes snow can play odd with exposure but these days with cameras they have such a wide dynamic range it just makes explores a breeze.....for my snow shots I allow the exposure to just show blowing on the screen them reduce the exposure to get that just right balance.
