Finally found my Nikon P900 - son had put it safely in a cupboard, but then we had stacked boxes in front of it, so, because I unpacked the last of that stack on Tuesday I found it!!

Just did a short trip out to run a bit of energy off Kelly & Brodie and this shows you a bit f where I went, so different from my previous area!

This is a good spot for the girls and you hardly see anybody else there. That is a managed pine forest on the right, and native forest on the left.

Not too many nice distant views because of the trees. The pine cones are growing in their hundreds too1

And on the way home able to stop at a nice view, and these really show my new surroundings - currently very muddy and very green!

Nice shots Dee, it does look more like the English countryside than your previous place. Do you get Roos up here _I know it would be the first thing Korky would ask about....

You are spot on there about Korky -  Rye, yes, we do have "roos, but not in the dense populations that we had up in my previous area. I have seen a couple, and a few Wallabies out in the bush, but it is also nice not to drive past about a dozen dead kangaroos on the side of the road on a regular trip.

Have just done a few bird photos with my 900, but have to get an external card reader to complete my new set up. Hope to get some on later today.
