Excellent especially the second shot. 
The Jay is my favorite bird I love that flash of blue. One of my never to be achieved photography goals is one in flight (preferably in focus.)

Thanks David, unusually on both shots it hung around on the table for a few minutes, normally it's a fly in grab some seeds then off again.

Thanks Simon, I was sat in the car with the door open for the second shot but I didn't dare stand up to get a cleaner shot as I was only about 18ft away.
