The Red Gate

Another one from the other day, I liked the contrast between the red of the gate and straight lines against the colours and shapes of the trees and nature.

Nice one Rye, that colour really stands out and certainly adds something to the background scene.

Nice shot and nicely framed, looks like you have been spotted too by the sheep on the right, they all seem to have that look of what are you doing.

Nice one! If the gate had been the normal manky old gate that's seen in the countryside, the image wouldn't have worked half as well.

Very unusual to see a gate that colour - it certainly stands out against the green of the landscape.
Might it have worked better if the gate was slightly open, inviting the viewer to enter the scene?
(I know... I know... it was probably chained shut!)
