From Saturday - watching steam trains again - this time at Ramsbottom - Loco's 2857 and 4270 leaving the station for Rawtenstall.

Taken with a borrowed point 'n' shoot on yesterday's walk on the West Pennines. Six miles of Autumnal sunshine, lovely views and a great butty stop.

 Nice looking in here - I love the steam trains Rye, some nice autumnal looks from BP, Korky & Hatter - quite different from the harsh look we are getting now, and, of course a nice Jasper shot from BP.

Volunteered for the local vineyard's SOS call to help harvest  a glut of Kerner Grapes ...   a free cheese and wine lunch was the reward  and in 4 hours, 16 of us picked over  a ton and a half  of the blighters.. and we had a great time enjoying  some   . community spirit  in more ways  than one   ...
