  1. Cutting your own is a real pain and bought versions usually have a nice bevel edge and work out cheaper by the time you've added a bit of waste. I buy via a local store (admittedly not a lot of help to you in Faro).
  2. Well thank you very much Polly this is a nice surprised and very unexpected considering the quality of images of late.
  3. Well done Polly, looks like you just pipped that one from me
  4. ...but if you do find yourself on Fuerteventura, head over to El-Cotillo a take a look at this exhibition. Some stunningly wonderful images including a couple of my simple offerings.
  5. Missed this one, some great shots guys and Korkys winner pic is a smiler
  6. Well done John- first chance I've had to call by so thanks to Polly for closing.
  7. ABANDONED - interpret however you wish with Old or new images, post your entries by 23.59 on Friday 20TH APRIL. Voting from Saturday 21st
  8. Thank you everyone, a nice surprise this morning. Sorry can't stop ... gotta go organise a challenge!
  9. Great POTW and one of your best Fuji, frame it and wall it!
  10. I guess unless you know the area this is not going to work that well... Old and New Combined Sleaford Lincolnshire.
  11. Although I missed the original thread, this is a well deserved POTW, well done Polly.
  12. The recent topics listing is easier to see and I think most use that, would we miss it? Would probably make us view other sections more than we do now?
  13. An update and an idea - and to add to my comment about posts just dropping out of view. My post on Hare Coursing last Sunday soon disappeared from view, it has 1 comment and 1 like - both from Kev (ta matey). Now it may be that members are uninterested enough to bother looking or it my be everyone has looked and thought 'this is crap I will not bother liking or commenting'. Knowing/thinking only Kev bothered makes me feel was it worth it? - but what if I was a newby? What would I think especially if this happened a few times? I would maybe think 'sod that' and clear off to Facebook or somewhere. So - do we need to look at the 'like' as 'read' and if you do look and don't wish to comment tick the dam thing so the poster at least knows someone care enough to look? In short - CHANGING THE LIKE TO 'LOOKED' WOULD NOT ONLY ENCOURAGE OTHERS BUT WOULD ALSO HELP ADMIN TO UNDERSTAND MORE HOW THE FORUM WORKS.
