Its Sunday so its pic of the week time and as its my turn I'm looking for something a little unusual. Self portraits are always a difficult thing, with many of us shying away or prefering to choose a 'nice' photo. But there is a certain TIPF member who... well take a look at this weeks POTW and ask would you be brave enough? original post can be found HERE

Congrats on your new job BP - I think the shop has or is trying to change (in a good way) trying to keep up with modern media. Although I would take Santa off their Facebook page, makes it look a little 'forgotten'.

Cheers Kev Yours are coming along nicely too! Not sure what else I have to use but I like this idea Phil.

That taken today Phil? We have a biting cold wind over in the East today, not sure I would last long on the beach.

Sorry Guys I missed this one, not sure where that week went! -
Browsed the site all week looking for something to catch my eye, this little Wren snapped by Roger caught my eye today . If you view the large version and you will see plenty of detail, spot on focus and luckly complete with background and Dof that lets the bird stand out rather well. Top Shot Sir and my POTW. Buy a kit and do it yourself, its easy. Read about mirror lock-up make sure you have a full (ish) battery, take your time and you'll wonder what the fuss is about.

A superb choice and an amazing picture - and if it wasn't for BP I wonder how many of us would have seen this post? One of the best landscapes that many of us missed - well done Roicead.

Hi Alan welcome along, have you ever visited Cadwell Park in Lincolnshire? A great motorbike circuit that lets you get close to the action ( gets very busy on main events tho'.) Cadwell Park

Whilst nosing around the forum I wondered into the area 52 Project, a dark and mysterious area of the forum some of us are reluctant to visit (mainly because we know we could never stick to the time table). I found many strange alien images that I have never seen before in there including this little picture from Mr Korky which I thought was rather clever, well taken and processed. So I will 'hand' you over to this weeks POTW and if you fancy your chances in the unrestricted area 52 head over HERE

I used vistaprint once some years ago and found the quality lacking. Best mid-priced company I would recommend is Photobox and they never quibble if you are not happy, soon replacing an item. If you sign up on photobox web page you will find they often send money off deals.

Well done Fuji - and BP I apologise for not entering, not had a lot of spare time to do any non work based photography. But I do think 'the strap' has found a good home.

Just before I got run over... not sure why the white box - it looks ok on the bigger version? -
Not sure where to find some good answers so lets start with you guys and gals. I keep getting requests for photo and print at local events. I have in the past gone, taken pictures then uploaded to my web site and sold/printed off later. Not the best method so I thought I would look at 'on site' print options, good quality and I think A4 would be big enough. Any ideas advice?
