  1. My Dragon from Welsh Wales. Had a bit of a photoshop play putting it onto a background.
  2. #3 As the saying goes Blue & Green should never be seen.
  3. Oh for the simple life pleasures of a free plastic toy in with your cereal, until the bloody do gooders and the health & safety police made them be removed in case we choked on them.
  4. Many thanks all for your congratulations. I suppose I was going to catch one of the POTW judges at a weak moment and after 10 days over 3 years and 643 photo uploads Rye fell for it. As for my smile that lasted about a hour after arriving at work, 2 other peoples problems to sort out, a trip to Glasgow looming again meaning I may miss a planned evening out Wednesday and possibly a missed concert Thursday evening. I love my job. Smiling is not all its cracked up to be. Its no wonder I drink so much coffee.
  5. Well my gob is well and truly smacked this morning. Many thanks, the folks at work will wonder what I have been up to this weekend when I turn up smiling. It's Monday morning and I don't do smiling but today I have a smile.
  6. #2 is my favorite visiting pigeon. Hes been visiting for a good 3 years now and has some lovely green and purple colouring on his neck.
  7. My first offering to this challenge is a phone grab from 2 weekends ago while walking around one of the old industrial areas of Sheffield which now is home to swanky new apartments, bars, restaurants & colourful wall art. #1
  8. Thanks Rye. And I agree regarding the images so far it's been great to see everyone take on the challenge.
  9. Coffee..................the most important meal of the day. And in a cup for a double.
  10. #1...I'm telling you its a Roach #2.....No it's a Rudd #3.......Well I think it's a Perch #4.........You're all wrong..............It's a carrier bag.
  11. Bottoms Up............Maybe that's not such a good phrase seeing as its near the nudist beach. But then again.
  12. Is that the same two chaps from last week but a bit more safety conscious with the hi vis jackets now.
  13. So here we go, I'm going to go with pointless stuff from around the house. Aces Wild
  14. I'm sure that breaks no H&S rules at all plus his mate spotting the ladder probably has no idea hes moved down the building too busy texting. He needs to be ready with the camera in case he falls its £250 for a video like that.
  15. We had the fly past up here in Sunny Sheffield to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the fatal crash killing the 10 us airmen to avoid the playing children recently which was an emotional spectacle if your day goes off with fraction of a success that was you will have an amazing day. Wishing you all the best for your day tomorrow hope all goes well. You have done an amazing thing you and you friend should be rightfully proud of yourselves.
  16. I'm sure I can find something other than the dogs to submit so add me to the list please.
  17. An old photo newly edited. The new digital heating control replacing the old dial type. Me and the good lady wife can now play temperature adjustment tennis via an app. This picture was taken at the point of the female setting.
  18. Look ....how many times do I have to say ?..... We don’t all have to hide in the same spot !
  19. OK last weekly challenge it was either going to be end or old & new. And I decided as the thread announcing what the new format of challenges is going to be was out with the the old in with the new your last challenge is simply that old and new. The picture can be either old or new and open to your interpretation. Pictures can be entered up to midnight Friday 28th and then voting will open the following week but you know the drill. Good Luck.
  20. Thank You all. I thought I was going to be the first winner who didn't have to set a challenge but I will take the honour of setting the last challenge. It's usually the difficult part picking a new challenge but I had 2 thoughts quite quickly which were obvious. So head to the new thread for the last weekly challenge to see what I go with?
  21. How about a little half year challenge to get us through to 2020 I tried to suggest this before and didn't really get the point across properly so here goes again. So a half year challenge starting around 1st July. 26 weeks there are 26 letters of the alphabet so each week photograph an item/subject beginning with a letter. There would be a few challenging letters so maybe not to do it in order but say if in week 10 you saw a zebra walking down the high st, snap post and letter z is done or the ultimate challenge to try to do it in order. There it is just an idea feel free to ridicule me at will.
  22. Go to the supermarket she said, buy bread and milk she said. "But have you seen what you can buy at Asda" I said
