  1. I have the latest subscription to Adobe that offers PS, Lightroom etc. I also have elements 13, PSP X8 and ACDSee Ultimate (current version). My go to program is still ACDSee, it has limitations such as poor wacom support and is not as fast as PS, yet I still migrate back to it all the time. Carl.

Having fun with my new M4/3 kit. I have to say I am pleasantly surprised, and really love the reduced weight and size. Carl.
  3. Meanwhile these three remain: faith, hope, and love; and the greatest of these is love.
  4. If I have seen further, it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.
  5. I have always loved this picture, whilst not "power" per say, I have always felt safer at the sight. Carl.
  6. Wow this is a debate that really has been going on, and on. Half my lens have lens protectors (skylight/UV etc), half don't, and no rationale for the decision! Personally I cannot make up my mind, you loose 4% light at an uncoated air/glass boundary, so a maximum of 8% if they are not coated, which most are. You however risk in theory gaining damage to your lens by not having protection, though how much protection you get over and above preventing finger marks is arguable. Carl.
  7. A terrible situation. I was rear ended about a year ago on the M25, the guy that hit me was in a worse state than me, so shaken up. God speed a quick recovery and painless insurance process. Carl. x
  8. This little one has just had two chicks in my shed! Carl.
  9. Good morning everyone. I am Carl, living and intending on staying in, Kent! (sorry saw the last post and thought it might raise a smile on this damp miserable day!) Carl.
