What a nightmare RW ....How maddening How did you become aware of it ?.. I scan with my security programme one a week on two pcs and a laptop ...takes forever but maybe it's worth it ..though I realise maybe nothing is 100% foolproof...

I can't bring myself to put Windows 10 on any of my machines John ... I'm concerned that genealogy programmes (that encompass 25 years of research) might not work properly ..I have the data backed up on a QNAP Box but I couldn't bear the hassle if it all stopped working ... I can see how frustrating you are finding it .... ....

I think that all sounds very positive John....if it aint broke etc I'm gonna wait at least 6 months ...

I think the confusion happens because people don't realise that for three days each week Sat- Sun and Monday... you can upload concurrently for two competitions.. I can enter a pic for In the Kitchen till Monday 3 Aug midnight and also a pic for *Something Old if I wanted to.... though I have till 10 Aug midnight to post the latter* Simples

Hello Jab .... you've taken the first step...always a bit daunting but they don't bite on here ! A few may bark a bit but that's just cos some are barking mad ! Welcome aboard Maybe you can tell us a bit about yourself and what sort of photos you like taking etc ... we have people on here with a range of skills who are happy to help people like me ...eager to learn. Sometimes it takes a few weeks to find your way around the various parts of a forum like this ... if you need any help ..just yell!
