Well order it online, dont answer the door when it is delivered so the bloke lobs it over the fence, deny getting it, get another one delivered and sell the first one on fleabay and bobs yer uncle, one for almost free...simples!
-
Well done Polly, I would have put it straight on fleabay!

No, she ordered them for fathers day and they didnt turn up, or so she thought. Today her hubby was clearing some garden rubbish and found the delivery bag stuffed behind the fence hidden by a thick bush by whoever was supposed to have delivered it! Amazing or Amazon? ParcelFarce ? DHL - Drop it Hide it Lose it? TNT - Tomorrow not Today? Herpes? UPS - United Parcel Smashers! DPD - Dump Parcel Depart

Yes John, my daughter is very creative in her thinking. Her photographs are amazing even though she does not own a camera preferring her iPhone. She did say the other day that she thinks she might actually like a proper camera ! Might thave to try and get her on here

Thank you Richard, puts my small life concerns neatly into place and echoes Polly's sentiments. I wish you and Heather all the best for your next project! -
Well done Geoff

We are in the New Forest, visited Bucklers Hard, had a boat trip down the river and now parked next to the beach at Milton on Sea with a view of the Isle of Wight and the Needles. A couple of beers on the beach watching the sun go down... Just phone pics... Perfect life

Welcome Trihelm, Unfortunately your image is not showing up, but I'm sure you will sort out the finer details of posting images soon, a maximum resized long edge of 1024 usually works!

After replacing the rear disc brakes and pads, an engine service, fixed a couple of broken switches, I also replaced the Leisure battery (the one that powers stuff in the back) gave it a thorough clean out, one new tyre and fitted a chemical loo inside, replaced the powered coolbox, so we spent a few days in Norfolk with my newly acquired campervan. A shakedown trip really to see if all was well, it has a dent on the rear wheel arch but that its history, I ain't going to bother fixing that yet! A pop up roof might be on the cards later. Just a few phone pics from Wells-next-the-Sea, Morston Church, and Bacton beach where we spent the second night parked with some other much younger Van 'dudes' who gave us old un's some great tips on camping in vans

It had POTW written all over it the moment it appeared well done Vanguard!

I always promised to treat myself to a camper van, not a motorhomes, but a self contained day van with all mod cons. Just the job for a weekend or three or four days at the most. We have chased up and down from Essex to Lincolnshire to Nottingham to Norfolk, some we see we're awful high mileage and poorly built conversions. We were almost on the point of giving up and I found this for sale in London... 25 blinking miles away, we were on the blokes doorstep at 0700 this morning cash in hand an an appealing pleading look on our faces as a Dutch couple were on there way to the UK to view it. Luck was on our side,it is a 12 plate on a private reg, a professional Surf shack camper by a firm called, 'Second Skin Surf'. Comes complete with a huge drive away awning worth £350...just the thing for those overnight forum group meet ups we are going to have next year... I won't have to book a room, just a campsite nearby

It was POTW material the first time I clapped eyes on it ! a great piece of work of a beautiful and iconic City. Congrats John.

Rest assured that you will not slip through the net if my retired life is anything to go by!

It is John, believe me. I too replaced a HD from a 'spinner' to a SSD and upgraded my OS from W7 to W10 via a direct download and licence from Microsoft. I build my own computers so this was a walk in the park for me to do. I am pleased to say all was well until it came to reinstalling my ancient version of Lightroom 5.7 that my son had purchased for me. When I tried to retrieve my account details, it told me it was alreadty installed on two other machines. Neither of them mine!..and not my sons either. I had had it on my previous desktop but that was successfully ported over to my W7 machine and details logged with Adobe confirming the switch. My login had been altered to the Adobe account. They did sort it out eventually but when I look at my account details now, there are Adobe products listed on there that I have never purchased ! Including a licence key for Photoshop which I dont have installed. Nor can I install it using that key. All very strange.
