Lovely... :clap:  Spring is on the way. I saw my first butterfly yesterday, it was a Brimstone. They are usually the first to appear as they often over winter as adult butterflies.

I saw a tortoiseshell yesterday!

Yes that's not unusual either, there are only five butterflies that can over winter as butterflies, they are Brimston, Small Tortoiseshell, Comma, Red Admiral and Peacock. The first three are the most common though. I can hardly wait for it to warm up proper, the macro lens will hardly come off my camera then.
