Ive never seen it in real life but there are lots of images and like Chris says it seems to be out of context with whats around but in nearly every shot ive seen it appears to be peeking out from or around its surroundings like a huge jelly on the move and for that alone I like it

What sometimes amazes me is that Building Control and Planning etc, make it near impossible to build in their Cities etc, unless you make it look and blend in with other buildings, then they allow these very "Ultra" Modern designs to just breeze through, Im lucky that I don't have to stare at these everyday, but admit as a Togger I'm glad they are being built, as it gives us all something to Look at, Compose and Take "Our Own" Type of image :-)

I don't like the building in real life, but your shot of it makes it a good picture.

Have you seen the mirrors all around the outside of the station?

We were talking to one of the men who was working on it, and he thinks the mirrors are hideous, but they are Ok in small doses.
I think they may have put some more up since we were there before Christmas, so not sure what I will make of loads of them.

Yes the new station has another ultra modern theme, next time I go to the city if I have decent light I do intend to get some angles worked out..

Well, nothing, but NOTHING, could be worse than the old New St Station - surely the worst place to wait for a train anywhere in Britain?

The new station inside is quite fantastic, but it's still as cold as ever on the platforms.
They were just putting the mirrors along that part of the station that leads to the markets.
We usually go that way out now as it's quicker to get to the markets, so I will see how they are getting on with the mirror cladding next time we go.

It's certainly something different to shoot.
