There's a barbers called ....Headquarters....in town, I pass by the window most days, hoping to catch a moment like this; the best of a huge number of attempts during the past few years.

 

To get the customer inside the Q was my aim, everything else is a bonus.....great fun!

It's a shame about the reflection - the simple image of the guy's head inside the Q with the trailing "hair" and the barber's isolated hand, is very arresting. That's a wonderful concept and achievement, but the reflections - while they would add to an ordinary shot of that scene - detract from the particular concept. At least, to me they do.

Try this then....

Just crop off the original.

As I explained, I have to take care not to attract the eyes of the subjects, they are literally a couple of feet away through that window.

No, no - you misunderstood! It's not the composition, the framing, I was talking about - it's the external reflections, which are stronger than ever in that crop. I far preferred your original shot, which was such a great idea.
