David & I have had some discussion for several weeks, as we feel we will have to make some hard decisions about the two eldest girls Kandy & Kobi. We decided that Kelly, (Little Miss Rocket-fuel!!), would need a companion, and we also decided that we could handle another larger dog in our surroundings - probably our last such addition. We could not find another Kelly - GSD x Rottie, but we did find a few puppy litters to view. We ended up with one from the last one - a domestic bred Rottie, raised with kids, and the runt of the litter.  Say hello to Brodie, - just 3 'quickies' from yesterday:

And fast asleep, and feeling 'safe'!!:

We will hopefully get more 'awake' pictures of her over the next weeks. She is just 8 weeks old, so still very much a baby :D

Awwwww! Indeed Dee....

You certainly love your pooches don't you?

Then again I guess the security of bigger breeds are almost essential giving where you live?

I would be thinking if the cost of all those tins of Chappie!

I'll just stick with ....our Big Ollie and Tinke for now ;-)

Thanks all - she is going to keep us busy for a week or several, but it will be worth it. I will try to get a couple of awake pictures, and in daylight today.

Fuji - it's not so much the 'essential' for having a large dog, it's more 'because we can' with our space etc.

And.......'tins of Chappie'....nooooo!!  Our lot get turkey hindquarters, chicken Maryland, and human grade beef mince, sometimes even Porterhouse steak, raw egg, and sardines or tuna in oil (as well as 1st grade biscuits!) :yes  :yes  :yes
