THE CEMETERY CAT (Again)

Recommended Posts

I have posted a pic of this little Moggie before......for the past two years at least he has made his home in the local cemetery after his owners moved house, he just came back.

He spends most of his day just inside the boundary, he meets almost everyone with the typical friendly cat greeting of tail up like a flag, he is a huge favourite of those attending the graves of their late loved ones.

I noted today, that he has food and water dishes left for him by his most avid fans..........

..........Here, he had just woken from a deep sleep in the war sunshine, he heard, then spotted me poking my camera through the boundary fence, he gave me the usual friendly greating then, this very intense look:

With thanks, to Pauln, for explaining his rather unique processing methods.........this is very similar, but slightly less harsh.

That's a beautiful shot and a beautiful cat.

Is that the church on Abbey Fields, Fuji.

He is very photogenic, isn't he?

No Tina,

He lives in or extremely close our cemetery, at the other end of town, he wasnt abandoned, he just wouldn't stay where he was taken, so returned to ...his patch.....he has plenty of carers.

Our Big Ollie, did the same, he kept returning to our house after my son and family moved out, he didnt like their new home so kept returning to us.

CATS!!!

Ah, I know the feeling well, my daughter cat kept walking along Broad Lane and crossing busy roads to get back to us.
We think he was jealous of the new baby  as he was my daughters baby for many years.
He lived the rest if his life with us, our two cats and two  dogs until he was 14 and his kidneys finally let him down after being on medication for a long time.
He was called Sophie ( you can laugh) as he wasn't very well endowed as a kitten and it was only on the day of his spaying that I told my daughter to check and he turned out to be a boy and not a girl as we thought. lol.
Couldn't really change his name as he had already got used to it.  by then
