annie... you have captured this very well in that it's clear and sharp, very nice colours and perfect DOF, however there is one thing that spoils it for me, that is the very tight crop. I can't help feeling I want to ease back a touch, I think a little more stem would also improve the image.... tell me to shut up if you like... I won't get offended... :lol:

nope john...you know i take it all in and try to learn. i can explain why i cropped the bottom bit of though....there was another mushroom and it was all mushy and broken, i was scared to touch it as i did not know what they were at the time....i really should have used my brain and got a twig and pushed it away...another lesson learnt!

as it happens these these turned out to be perfectly harmless and are edible...............!
