Thanks Tina - I would probably have shot them anyway, but I was just taken by the way their petals folded together so close.

An, excellent shot Chris......I keep on playing with crop ideas for it........it might work better with a slice from the left so it isnt so central?

I must admit I did wonder if they were too central but decided in this particular shot it didn't really matter. It is already cropped but if I lost anymore it would be from the right as I prefer the needles on the left.

A very nice shot - well spotted. At first I thought the flowers were a little small in the frame, but after a long gawp it seems to have just about the right balance.

 

I should point out, though, that flowers aren't capable of emotion and so can't fall in love. Is Herr Lumix watching a few too many Disney movies perchance?
