Just doing a catch up, John - love these views that you post. Can I come on the walk next time?

Dee... thanks for commenting on my recent landscape shots... much appreciated.  You can pop over for a walk on the hills anytime, I could do with some company some times... :yes

Lovely view, what are the earthworks in front of you?

Bill...The hill that I was standing on was the site of an Iron Age Fort, I took this photo from my friends microlight when I flew with him a few years ago. The earthworks are very extensive and there is another similar site on a nearby hill.

Thanks John; it's British Camp then?

Yes Bill... I was standing on the top of the British Camp... it's also known as the Herefordshire Beacon. You probably know about the chain of beacons across the country that were lit to warn of impending invasion. The highest of the hills in my original shot is the Worcestershire Beacon, the highest point in Worcestershire at 1,395ft.
