This shot has a very surreal feeling, all those folk sitting together, but isolated in thought and speech as though they are in separate compartments with invisible walls.

Your processing has increased this feeling...........I like it.

I usually love your work, Matt, but this time it's not working for me.

 

I find the image to be far too busy and I'm not really sure what it is that I'm supposed to be looking at. To me, there's a jumble of elements that just don't come together all that well.

 

On a more positive note.......... The processing is excellent. Top marks for that!

I'm the reverse of Korky - I like the composition (especially the way both sides of the hostelry converge on the river) but I feel the highlights have been too tightly controlled so the feeling of bright sun and warmth is missing.

Thanks all for the comments.  This was a quick grab shot as I was leaving.  Something about the symmetry just got my attention.  Really not sure if it works as an image or not, but I kinda like it.  Chris I do agree about the highlights, the image looks a little cold.

Perhaps it just needs a tweak of the Colour Temperature control?
