Just beautiful both would go very well with my recent minimal .......Snail on a Stem....post.

The applied? Blur here just makes these shots, I would happily have them on my wall.....they would make wonderful book illustrations........or for a well composed snail rhyme.

This photo was taken at 180mm whcih caused the blurred background and the forground. I have learned that zoom lenses are a great tool for blur in certain situations. further settings:

1/320 at f4.5 ISO 800

taken at 8.30PM golden hour which made almost everything luminescent.

Initially I was hoping for a decent sky shot where the clouds  looked like fire because of the storms we had. but this time it didnt happen.

I wanted to redo this shot that I took the day before with my mobile:
