When using the clone / heal tool in LR5, how do I get rid of all the little circles when I'm working with the tool?

They disappear when I click DONE, but the little buggers come back if I return to healing.

Sometimes, they just get in the way of a bit of tricky dabbling.

Hi, Korky,

It could be that you gave the OPACITY slider right up, this will give a very hard edge to the cloned area......go to where you adjust brushes, when the CLONE tool is in use, you will see a pair of sliders, one for brush size and the other for Opacity.

Lower the opacity to leave a softer edge.

Please let me know if that solves your problem.

Matt - Thanks for those hints - very useful.

Fooj - I've never really played with the clone tool opacity I just control the brush size with the mouse wheel. But I shall now - in fact I've had a go already. Thanks!
