I always like the processing on your shots and this is no exception. Very nice indeed.

Main subject a little too central for my whatsname, but the way you've caught the woman's concentration is spot-on.

Surely the raw wool on the left is part of the picture and tells how the wool started and how it ended.

I like it as it is.

I didn't mean the raw wool Tina - I meant that black bag or whatever it is, to the left of the wool.

GreenKing, I love the processing of this pic. I hit the "like" button when I first saw it and keep coming back for another look. However, there was something that made me uneasy and I could not pin it down until now; I do not like the cardboard box, I just feel it is not in period. Also, the wheel does not look circular (it may be my monitor). But apart from those minor criticisms, I really like this shot.

I have taken another look at this shot. Originally I cropped part of the wool out on the left hand side. Putting it back  the shot would look like this;

On reflection I don't see that it makes much difference.

I take your point Martyn with regard to the cardboard box, however I feel that if I cropped it out the shot would be too out of balance.

Don't know about the wheel as it looks ok to me, but bear in mind it is angled to the camera which would distort it slightly.
