Fascinating things, Spiders........ At least they put their victims to sleep before consuming them.......if you can bear it, see if you can catch the Perigrine Falcon feeding bits of a pigeon to their young.

I wish I could, but there's few Peregrines round here. Few raptors even. Kesterls at best.

 

BUt she's kinda like Shelob from Bilbo's movies....  :)

You can see the LIVE STREAMING video of the .......Nottingham Trent University .....Peregrine Falcons .....by just typing it into GOOGLE.....or......

Go to my link in the post I made in another area of TIPF very recently.

Apparently the same pair have been using the same window ledge nesting site for ten years now........currently her four eggs have recently hatched, all chicks look healthy.

Her mate takes over baby sitting at times, both seem to catch then kill pigeons , not a pretty sight if it happens on camera.
