Toddington, for the steam trains

Took a trip with the local camera club on Saturday to Toddington to try and catch the steam trains 

Managed to get this one at the station

Nice image. I went from Toddington to Cheltenham and back some years ago, I understand they go to Broadway now. I must try it sometime.

Yes as I understand it you can go from Cheltenham to Broadway, seems like it could be a nice day out

I looked it up, it was December 30th 2007 when my late wife and I went from Toddington to Cheltenham. We got off the train at Winchcombe on the return journey and we had lunch at a pub and caught another train back to Toddington. I must do it again but it won't be the same on my own.

A great memory though, yes we went to Winchcombe as well.  Two trains came in at the same time but unfortunately both were facing backwards so it wasnt quite as effective

Fabulous Image there Strav ....I really like that .. The red  really give the  whole image a certain dynamism ... 

 I love the fact that you have the tickets still John  from 17 years ago ... Makes me feel better about all the sentimental stuff I have kept over the last 60 years  .... all these little things trigger memories as well as the photographs we keep .

Loveley image. That big cloud of steam at the front reminds me of when i was a kid and first saw one of these come out of the old tunnel at walsall station in a big cloud of steam and smoke, i nearly crapped myself i thought it was a huge dragon
